Yoga for Athletes
This all-levels yoga class is specifically designed for the tight, stressed and active student.
You don’t need to be an actual “athlete,” as everyone is involved in some form of motion and daily activity that takes a strain on the body. The integration of breath work, strength and flexibility combinations is an invaluable tool for everyone. Through a series of slow moving postures mixed with dynamic movements, the student will focus on the connection of the entire body, and the mind’s role in controlling the process. The class will focus on building stabilization around joints, core strength, balance, flexibility and mental and physical endurance-all of which are key to better performance, injury prevention and active recovery.
