Mindful Kindness: Practices that Build Compassion

Practicing compassion for yourself is one of the kindest things you can do for others. In Mindful Kindness students will learn and practice specific ways to cultivate their present-moment awareness of body and mind. Building on these mindfulness skills, students will engage in meditations and activities designed to expand their capacity for treating themselves and others with kindness. This course consists of six 90-minute weekly classes and one 4-hour retreat between sessions 5 and 6. The course also includes daily practice outside class of the skill-building activities introduced each week.
